    JIMTOF 2018: un momento formativo per il nostro team

    Industria 4.0 e meccatronica per la qualità: ecco cosa abbiamo portato a casa dalla nostra esperienza alla JIMTOF 2018 di Tokyo, la fiera per eccellenza delle macchine utensili.

    Le fiere di settore sono un momento formativo per le aziende che, come noi, sono sempre attente alle novità dell’industria 4.0 e della meccatronica. Le fiere per il settore metalmeccanico in Italia offrono ottimi spunti di riflessione, ma è quando si guarda al panorama internazionale che si può dire di mettere un passo avanti agli altri, scoprire nuove soluzioni all’avanguardia e portare la propria azienda verso il futuro.

    Forti delle esperienze fatte alla MECSPE di Parma e alla BIMU di Milano, quest’anno abbiamo deciso di visitare la JIMTOF, la fiera per eccellenza delle macchine utensili che si svolge ogni due anni a Tokyo, Giappone.
    In materia di innovazione tecnologica il mercato nipponico è molto attento all’efficienza, all’uso di soluzioni che riducono i tempi di lavoro, abbattono i consumi e aumentano le prestazioni, portando il margine di errore a sfiorare lo zero. Sebbene le nostre aspettative riguardo alla JIMTOF 2018 fossero alte, la realtà dei fatti le ha superate, riuscendo a lasciarci a bocca aperta davanti alla qualità: vero cardine dei macchinari di tornitura che spopoleranno nei prossimi anni.
    La storia della OMCB è caratterizzata dall’attenzione alla qualità e dalla ricerca di soluzioni che potessero dare valore aggiunto ai prodotti su cui i nostri componenti vengono montati. Alla JIMTOF abbiamo avuto la conferma di come, anche a livello internazionale, la qualità sia la chiave di volta per restare al passo con le richieste del mercato, prime fra tutte quelle del settore medicale, pneumatico e petrolchimico.
    Siamo tornati a casa con tanta voglia di guardare oltre, di investire ancor di più in industria 4.0 e meccatronica, e di superare le aspettative dei nostri clienti implementando in azienda macchinari e strumenti di controllo qualità ancor più all’avanguardia. Nei prossimi due anni provvederemo ad ampliare il nostro parco macchine e ad acquistare strumentazioni ancora più precise ed efficienti, nella speranza di tornare a Tokyo nel 2020 per trovare nuovi spunti e nuove sfide da affrontare a testa alta.

    JIMTOF 2018: training time for our team

    Industry 4.0 and mechatronics for quality: this is what we brought home from our experience at the JIMTOF 2018 in Tokyo, the machine tool fair par excellence.

    Sector fairs are a training moment for enterprises which, like us, are always on the lookout for updates in the Industry 4.0 and mechatronics. Mechanical engineering trade fairs in Italy offer excellent ideas for reflection, but it is only when you focus on the international panorama that you can claim to be one step ahead of the others, discovering new state-of-the-art solutions and projecting your enterprise towards the future.

    Building on the experience gained at MECSPE in Parma and BIMU in Milan, this year we decided to attend JIMTOF, the machine tool fair par excellence which is held every two years in Tokyo, Japan.
    As far as technological innovation goes, the Japanese market is always focused on efficiency, use of solutions that reduce work times, decrease power consumption and boost performance, bringing the margin of error to almost zero. Although our expectations regarding our visit to JIMTOF 2018 were rather high, the truth is it actually exceeded them, where the level of quality left us speechless: a breeding ground for the turning machines that will populate the markets in the coming years.
    OMCB’s history is characterised by its attention to quality and its search for solutions that can bestow added value to the products on which our components are assembled.At JIMTOF we received confirmation of how, also at an international level, quality is the key principle to remaining abreast of the demands of various markets, with the medical, pneumatic and petrochemical industries at the top of the list.
    We returned home with a desire to push our boundaries even further, to invest more in industry 4.0 and mechatronics, and exceed the expectations of our customers by installing state-of-the-art quality control tools andmachinery at our plant facilities. In the next two years we will be expanding our machine fleet even further and intend to purchase even more precise and efficient tools, whilst hoping to return to Tokyo in 2020 to get new ideas and face the up and coming challenges to the best of our ability.
